Abstract submission

The aim of the Sleep & Breathing Conference is to support exchange of knowledge among the international scientific community. Writing an abstract for this Conference is an important way for you to communicate your scientific research or clinical practice with your peers and colleagues.

The Abstract submission and Bursary application is now closed.

Abstracts will be manned on Thursday and Friday of the Conference from 13:45 to 14:45.

Poster format landscape format (horizontal): maximum dimensions 95cm high and 145 cm wide. Poster mounting will be on the morning of your presentation day from 8.00 AM.

The scientific programme committee encourages submission of abstracts describing original research into all areas of respiratory medicine including those related to the main themes of the conference.

The submission is free of any charge.

Practical advice about writing an abstract

All submitted abstracts will be evaluated anonymously by three independent reviewers and scored (1-6) on its content and scientific merit.

The total number of characters allowed for your abstract is 1,810 characters (note that a picture counts as 277 characthers).

How to write a good abstract

The bursary recipients will be selected among authors who applied and who had excellent reviews of their abstracts. A bursary consists in the free registration to the Conference and 400€ financial support to cover part of the expenses related to the attendance of the Conference (travel, accommodation).

Opening Ceremony and Reception

All registered delegates are welcome to join the Organising Committee and the faculty at the Opening Ceremony & Cocktail of the 2nd international Sleep and Breathing Conference 2013 on Thursday April 11 at 19:00 in the Potsdam Foyer of the Intercontinental Hotel. (Dress code is smart casual)
